Institute for Precognitive Studies: Visiting Scientists

Outreach Visiting Scientists Sponsorship Opportunities

The Institute welcomes visiting scientists to join and extend our research family. We can offer visitors exceptional colleagues, unlimited access to our network of precognitive participants, and a splendid climate. We are unable to provide direct funding to visitors or their graduate students, and, until further notice, must ask visitors to help us cover the costs of their office and computing needs during their stay at the Institute.

We are pleased by the initial interest in this program, and, as with our outreach program, we would like to use our web facilities to build a community of scientists interested in precognition. We invite those who have already contacted us, and others as well, to send descriptions of their current and/or proposed work to the Institute's Executive Director (dexforth@precogstudies.org; subject = "Visiting scientist program") for inclusion on this or other Institute web pages. We hope that our sharing of these ideas and projects can inspire new directions in precognitive research, encourage others to join us, and show the rest of the scientific community that precognitive research can be carried out in a sound and principled manner.

Based on the response to our initial request for proposals, we feel it is appropriate to begin an open, peer review process of these proposals, with the assistance of the precognitive research community. Please visit our peer review center, and take part in advancing the science of precognition.

As new proposals are received, they will be displayed on this page. An archive of past research proposals received by the Institute is also available.
