A special message from Dr. Richard L. Dexforth,
Executive Director, Institute for Precognitive Studies (10:00 am, 20 June) |
| Today is my last day at the Institute for Precognitive Studies. I'm sure most of you are aware by now that my relationship with Exocog and their unfortunate activities has left me no choice but to resign my position here. It would not be fair to this fine organization to stay at the helm while dealing with the legal issues I now face. Better that this organization go on. I have opened up the previously secure areas of the Institute's website, so that a time of open investigation can begin. I am pleased to announce that Seth Rydel has agreed to take on the position of head of the Institute in my place. Seth is a former student of mine, and his background in precognitive studies makes him highly qualified to lead the Institute. While his approach to precognition is different from mine, I've come to appreciate his combination of science and pragmatism regarding the role of precognition and precognitives in society. Since Seth is himself precognitive, he will be able to bring new insights into his role as leader of this organization. I'm sure you will all give Seth your fullest support. I'm also pleased to announce that Debbie Chen will be joining him as chief administrator for the Institute. It has been an honor and a privilage to work with you. My current plans are a short trip to Las Vegas with my fiance, Emma Novak, after which we will be settling at my country place in Marin County. My best wishes to you all, |
